Media personality Karim Ramzy confirmed that goalkeeper Mostafa Shobeir's participation with the Egyptian national team in the Africa Cup of Nations is a significant risk.
Karim Ramzy said on the program "La'bat w Tania" on Mega FM radio: "Mohamed El Shenawy is indispensable in the starting lineup of the Egyptian national team in the Africa Cup of Nations, despite some mistakes."
He added: "El-Shenawy's experience in major tournaments gives him the edge in the starting lineup, and starting Mostafa Shobeir in the Africa Cup of Nations would be a major risk that could cause numerous conflicts among the goalkeepers."
He continued: "However, Hossam Hassan must renew his confidence in having El-Shenawy as the starting goalkeeper in the Africa Cup of Nations, despite some mistakes in recent matches, whether with Al Ahly or the Egyptian national team."
