Sports critic Khaled Talaat announced exciting news about Al Ahly star Ahmed Sayed Zizo.
Khaled Talaat said on Facebook: "All the Zamalek fans were saying that Zizo deserves the Best Player in Africa award in 2024, and the same people are now saying that Zizo's performance declined when he joined Al Ahly this year."
He continued: "I'm bringing you a surprise — Zizo's stats in 2025 are better than his stats in 2024, despite playing the same number of matches."
Al Ahly will meet Ceramica Cleopatra next Friday in the second round of the group stage of the Egypt Capital Cup.
