Media personality Amr Adib stated that the return of Zamalek Club's land in October has become impossible following a public prosecutor's statement that mentioned suspicions of public funds misappropriation in the crisis, where initial investigations revealed numerous violations in the procedures of allocating and exploiting the land.

Adib added on the program "Al-Hekaya" on MBC Masr channel that there is an alternative and specified land offered to Zamalek Club, and the club's board of directors should deal with the matter realistically.

He continued: "The public might say you have abandoned the land issue... I have not abandoned Palestine, and what we were going to do here we will do there. I have not changed my position but the prosecutor's statement is revealing and the land has a major problem."

He concluded: "The truth is painful, there is no land and Zamalek bears part of the responsibility because it has done nothing regarding the land for 20 years. I tell the Zamalek board of directors to deal with reality, the land is gone, the matter is frozen, and there are also public prosecution investigations."
