Mohamed Salah, the star of Liverpool and captain of the Egyptian national team, is preparing to join the Pharaohs' current training camp in Cairo as part of the final preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to take place in Morocco during December and January.

Salah is expected to join the national team camp on Monday, December 15, where he will begin preparations with his teammates to participate in the continental tournament, a move that strengthens the Egyptian team's prospects ahead of the official competitions.

Egyptian press reports indicated that Salah will be included in the coaching staff's plans to participate in the friendly match against the Nigerian national team, scheduled to take place on December 16 at Cairo International Stadium, as part of the technical and tactical preparations for the tournament.

At the same time, other reports confirmed that the player will be included in Liverpool's squad for the match against Brighton next Saturday in the English Premier League, following the resolution of differences with the Dutch coach Arne Slot.

The Egyptian national team continues its preparations under the leadership of head coach Hossam Hassan, with a strong focus on physical and technical aspects ahead of the tournament.

The Pharaohs are placed in the second group alongside the teams of Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Angola. The team will begin its campaign by facing Zimbabwe on December 22, followed by matches against South Africa and Angola on the 26th and 29th of the same month.
