Developments in Bentake's Crisis with Zamalek
Sports journalist Ahmed Shobeir, former Al Ahly star, revealed the latest developments in the dispute between Zamalek player Bentake and his club.
In a television statement, Shobeir said: "Zamalek is blocking Bentake's path, paying him his money or part of it, and telling him, 'Please don't file a complaint, we will honor our commitment to you and pay you your money. Don't even think about going to Al Ahly club.'"
He added: "My message to Zamalek Club is that these professional players are not in love with your soil, nor with you or anyone else. These players are in love with earning their living, their professional career, and the compensation they receive."
The match between Zamalek and Ismailia Electricity, held last Tuesday in the first round of the Egypt Capital Cup, ended in a 3-3 draw.
