Kolo Touré, assistant coach of Manchester City, spoke about the latest updates concerning the Egyptian player Omar Morsh ahead of the team's upcoming match against Crystal Palace, within the sixteenth round of the English Premier League, scheduled to take place next Sunday.

Touré said: "If I am not mistaken, our players will join their national teams to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations after the Crystal Palace match."

He continued: "We will miss Morsh and Ryan Aït-Nouri. They are important players, and usually Pep Guardiola wants to involve everyone. It pains me to see them leave, but we have a strong team capable of compensating."

Touré revealed the reason for Pep Guardiola's absence from the press conference, saying: "Guardiola is fine, it's a simple matter behind his absence, and everything is okay. He will definitely be present at the Crystal Palace match."

Touré added about the players' condition: "Today the players have a rest from training, and everyone will return tomorrow to continue preparations."

He continued: "John Stones' thigh injury is not serious, and he will return soon, while Rodri is training well and gradually regaining his fitness, but I do not expect him to participate this week."

Touré praised coach Pep Guardiola, saying: "We have the best coach in the world, and he does a great job every day. His passion for the game is unmatched. We know he will lead us as far as possible to win the league."

He added: "As for us, we focus on what we can do, and we do not focus on Arsenal's performance or any other team. Every match for us is like a final, and we must deliver our best performance to achieve victory."
