Journalist Ahmed Hassan revealed Zamalek's stance on Mahmoud Bentayek after the unilateral termination of his contract due to non-payment of his financial dues.
Hassan said on Facebook: "Zamalek is making strong efforts with Mahmoud Bentayek to resolve his issue and insists on not terminating his contract."
The match between Zamalek and Ismailia Electricity, held last Tuesday in the first round of the group stage of the Egypt Capital Cup, ended in an exciting 3-3 draw.
Zamalek will face Haras El Hodood on Saturday, December 20th, in the second round of the tournament.
