Former Barcelona star Andrés Iniesta spoke about the current situation of his former teammate Lionel Messi, amid rumors about the possibility of his return to Spotify Camp Nou.

Iniesta said: "I don't know if there are any wounds or not. I can't add more to what Lionel means to Barcelona; that will never change, no matter who the person is or the time."

He continued: "I don't know if he will ever return or what form his return might take, but the most important thing is what Lionel means to the club."

He added about Pedri: "Pedri is Pedri, not a mix of anyone else. He has his own qualities, abilities, and things he can develop because he is very young, but he is decisive for Barcelona and the national team."

Iniesta continued, saying: "The beautiful thing is that when you watch his performance, you are amazed by the ease and simplicity of what he delivers. It is enjoyable for the fans."

Regarding Ronald Araújo, Iniesta said: "These are situations and life circumstances that will continue to happen. It is important to seek help from professionals who can provide support in such cases, and then gain the strength to overcome them."

He continued: "Fortunately, many people survive, but this is a matter of social awareness about how we deal with things, express them, and manage them. There are many factors that lead to that moment."

At the end of his talk, Iniesta emphasized the importance of young players and properly nurturing their talents within Barcelona, explaining that the club has talents who need guidance and support to continue succeeding both locally and internationally.
