Zamalek Blames Bentayek's Agent for Complaint Crisis and Threat to Terminate Contract
Monday 08-12-2025
The management of Zamalek Club blamed Massad Youssef, the agent of Moroccan player Mahmoud Bentayek, for the player's complaint and his threat to unilaterally terminate his contract due to delayed financial dues from the club in recent times.

According to the newspaper "Al-Watan," Zamalek officials believe that the player's agent is encouraging him to escalate the situation against the club and pushing him to file an official complaint and initiate contract termination proceedings, taking advantage of the financial crisis the club is currently facing.

The newspaper pointed out that Zamalek's management is convinced that Mosad Youssef recently presented Mahmoud Bentayek to officials of Al Ahly Club, a move the management viewed as an attempt to provoke Zamalek and pressure them into making quick decisions.

Reports confirmed that the management of Zamalek Club is planning to hold a decisive meeting with Mahmoud Bentayek upon his return to Cairo, after his participation with the Moroccan national team in the Arab Cup currently being held in Qatar, in order to resolve the crisis and reach an amicable solution regarding his overdue financial dues.
