Kevo Happy with Inter's Performance and Frattesi's Limited Playing Time
Christian Kevo expressed his happiness after Inter's 5-1 victory over Venezia in the Coppa Italia, emphasizing that there are many reasons to feel joyful following the outstanding performance of the players. He also spoke about the limited playing time that Davide Frattesi has received this season.
Kevo said, "I liked the attitude the players showed and the respect they demonstrated towards their opponents."
He continued: "I am happy with what the players delivered tonight, but I knew they would do so. They are enthusiastic and eager to maintain the good work they have shown over the past months."
He added: "I am happy for those who played their first match at San Siro, these players from the under-23 team whom I know well. I am happy for Andy Diouf, who played his first full 90-minute match and scored a goal. There are many reasons to feel happy this evening."
He continued, explaining: "The players deserve congratulations, and they were very warmly received by the experienced members. The players who have spent many years here showed humility and helped the younger ones adapt quickly. It is an ongoing process of development."
Commenting on Frattesi's participation, Kevo said: "Perhaps Frattesi deserved more minutes, but he faced some issues after returning from an injury with complications we did not disclose. He needed to regain more fitness today, and he did that well over the 90 minutes."
He added: "We know the importance of Frattesi and what he can offer. He has made different choices, but I know I can rely on him as a player who wants to be decisive with us."
He joked when praised for his way of communicating: "We know very well what we want to do and how much work is needed to get there. I hope I have time during the season to say some illogical things as well. Maybe I said a lot in the past, but no one noticed."
