Medical Exam Scheduled for Stones Ahead of Inter Milan Move
Inter Milan is nearing a deal to sign English defender John Stones after reaching an agreement on a contract that will run until June 2028, following the expiration of his contract with Manchester City.
Football Italia reports that John Stones will undergo medical examinations on Thursday or Friday, ahead of officially signing with the Italian club for a net annual salary of 4 million euros.
The report indicated that the 32-year-old player preferred a move to Inter despite interest from other clubs, such as Juventus, Arsenal, and Chelsea.
The source added that Stones will arrive in Italy on July 30, in preparation to complete the transfer procedures.
The English defender is enjoying his summer break after competing in the 2026 World Cup. He is expected to join the team following the conclusion of the training camp in Germany.
John Stones will start his journey with Inter Milan, joined by his former Manchester City teammate, Swiss defender Manuel Akanji.
