Unexpected Comment from Shobier on Egypt's Second National Team Performance
Sports commentator Ahmed Shobier commented on the performance of Egypt's second national team players against Kuwait in the Arab Cup.
The Egyptian national team drew 1-1 against their Kuwaiti counterparts yesterday, Tuesday, in the first round of the group stage of the Arab Cup.
Shobeir said on Facebook: "We were expecting a much stronger start than this... We missed a lot of opportunities. The first half could have easily ended with us leading by one or two goals after the first fifteen minutes."
He continued: "We have had a clear problem from the beginning in finishing the many chances that were created for goals; no one was able to put the ball into the net. By the way, the match against the UAE will be tougher than our encounter with Kuwait. Good luck to Egypt in the upcoming matches."
