Officially: Asian Games Football Draw Revealed

Today, the draw for the men's football competition at the 2026 Asian Games in Nagoya was held, which will take place in Japan from September 14 to October 3, 2026, resulting in strong matchups between the participating teams.

Group A features Japan (the host nation), alongside Thailand, Kyrgyzstan, and Hong Kong. Group B includes China, the UAE, Iran, and North Korea.

Group C includes Vietnam, Uzbekistan, the Philippines, and Kuwait. Meanwhile, Group D is particularly strong, featuring South Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.

The football competitions for the 20th Asian Games are set to begin on September 14, hosted by the Japanese cities of Aichi and Nagoya.
