Al-Dosari said during the press conference after the match: "Trusting in God is very important. It's true that I didn't score, but the most important thing is achieving victory for the team. Thank God, we started the tournament with a satisfactory result."

The Green team's captain added: "The match against Oman was tough, but the team performed as expected. Our goal is to win the championship, not just to participate, and we will approach each game step by step."

Al-Dosari continued: "The goal is clear to all the players, and God willing, we will strive to win the title. Every player must give their best on the field to achieve collective success."

For his part, French coach Hervé Renard praised Salem Al-Dawsari's significant role, highlighting his experience in creating goals and the importance of players making the most of their playing time with their clubs to maximize their potential.

The Saudi national team defeated Oman 2-1 in a match held at the Education City Stadium on Tuesday evening, as part of the first round of Group C in the 2025 Arab Cup, starting their campaign with an important victory.
