Omar Gaber, the captain of Zamalek SC, explained that his team is well aware of the strength of South Africa's Kaizer Chiefs ahead of tomorrow's Confederation Cup match.
Zamalek will face Kaizer Chiefs tomorrow, Saturday, in the second round of the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Omar Gaber said at the pre-match press conference: "Zamalek is aiming to secure a victory tomorrow and earn 3 points. He emphasized that Kaizer Chiefs is a strong team, as is Zamalek, and the team will do its utmost to win."
He added: "The team knows South African football well, having faced Stellenbosch last season. He pointed out his respect for football in South Africa, with Zamalek having confidence in its abilities and knowledge of the strength of Kaizer Chiefs, and that the preparation for the match was done in the best way to achieve victory."
He continued: "Kaizer Chiefs has a history in Africa, and Zamalek also has a significant history on the continent," explaining that tomorrow's match will be completely different from the encounter with Stellenbosch last season.
