Magdy Abdel Ghani Criticizes John Edward's Experience at Zamalek
Magdy Abdel Ghani, former Al Ahly star, criticized John Edward's experience as the sporting director of Zamalek SC.
Abdel Ghani said during the program "Ya Masa' Al Anwar" on the channel "MBC Masr 2": "So far, John Edward's experience with Zamalek has not been successful."
He explained that the sporting director signed a contract with coach Yannick Ferreira at the beginning of his tenure, even though, from his point of view, he was not the most suitable coach to lead the team. Additionally, they signed players, none of whom have managed to make a difference on the field since the start of the season.
He added: "The club did not benefit financially, and there has been no revival within Zamalek; therefore, the experience has so far been unsuccessful."
