The Ministry of Youth and Sports has revealed the truth behind the reports claiming that the Board of Directors of Zamalek Club has submitted its resignation due to the recent crises the club is facing.

Mohamed El-Shazly, the official spokesperson for the ministry, stated in media remarks that the government entity has not received any official requests or correspondence indicating the intention of the club president, Hussein Labib, or any member of his board to submit their resignation.

He emphasized that what has been circulated on some websites and social media pages falls within the scope of rumors aimed at creating confusion within the sports community.

He affirmed that the Ministry of Youth and Sports closely monitors the conditions of sports organizations and is keen to ensure their administrative and technical stability, emphasizing the need for accuracy before circulating news that affects major sports institutions.

He also pointed out that the ministry relies on transparency in dealing with the public and the media, and that any developments concerning the Board of Directors of Zamalek Club will be officially announced as soon as they occur.
