Ahmed Suleiman: We Will Work to Lift the Registration Suspension Before January
Ahmed Suleiman, a member of the Zamalek Club Board of Directors and the football supervisor, confirmed that the board is capable of effectively handling the player registration suspension issue and that the club will work to lift the suspension before the winter transfer window.
Suleiman added in a television statement that since the council took over responsibility, "it has succeeded in lifting the registration suspension each time," and that this issue had not previously prevented the club from signing new players.
He continued: "We will work on lifting the registration ban before the upcoming January transfer window, which will pave the way for completing the new signings the team needs."
Zamalek is preparing to face ZESCO United of Zambia next Sunday in the first round of the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
