Nasr Yehia, the agent of Algerian Ahmed Qandousi, a player for Swiss club Lugano, has settled the ongoing debate about the possibility of his client moving to Zamalek during the upcoming winter transfer window, confirming that there are no negotiations between the two parties.

Yehia stated in a television interview that Zamalek's management has never contacted him regarding signing Qandousi in January, stressing that the player will continue with his Swiss club and there is no intention for him to leave at the moment.

Recent media reports had indicated that Zamalek entered negotiations with Qandousi to strengthen the team before the start of the second half of the season, but the player's agent categorically denied the accuracy of these reports.

Zamalek is preparing to face Zesco United of Zambia on November 23, as part of the first round of group stage matches in the CAF Confederation Cup.
