Zamalek Club is experiencing internal division over the future of the Angolan striker Chico Banza, ahead of the upcoming winter transfer window, due to his declining performance since joining the team this summer.

According to sources, a faction within the club is demanding the player's release due to his inconsistent technical performance and failure to add the expected value, especially after his modest appearance in the Egyptian Super Cup final against Al Ahly, which increased the pressure to finalize his departure in January.

On the other hand, another group insists on retaining Banza for the upcoming period, as Zamalek has not yet paid the full contract dues to the Portuguese club Amadora, making the decision of his departure currently more complicated.

Zamalek signed the Angolan striker this summer for $700,000, with a contract extending for three seasons, but he has not yet succeeded in delivering a performance that meets the expectations of the fans and the technical staff.
