Christensen: I have no backup plan if I don't renew my contract with Barcelona

Danish defender Andreas Christensen clarified his position regarding his future with FC Barcelona, as his current contract with the team is set to expire in June, according to Spanish newspaper "Marca".

Christensen confirmed in his statements that he does not feel worried about his future, saying: "No, in fact, I don't feel any concern. I think we are in a good position, and nothing affects my daily life or my family. Of course, one would like to know what will happen, but this does not change our mood or our daily conversations."

The Danish defender spoke about the club management's stance on the issue of renewing his contract, explaining: "No, I have no idea at the moment. I prefer to focus on playing and contributing to the team as much as possible. If there is something to be done, my agent will take care of it. Of course, I would like to know what is happening, but I am only focusing on what I can control."

Christensen concluded his remarks by confirming that he has not thought about any alternative destination if he is not renewed, saying: "Not at all, I have no backup plan."
