Abdel Nasser Mohamed, the football director of Zamalek Club, revealed the status of Mohamed Sobhi and Juan Bezerra, the stars of the white team, regarding their participation in the Egyptian Super Cup final against Al Ahly.
Abdel Nasser stated after Zamalek's victory over Pyramids in the Super Cup semi-finals on "On Sport" channel that the Zamalek players put in a great effort and delivered an impressive performance. He noted that "the fans were amazing, and God rewarded the hard work of the diligent players who know everything about Zamalek, as they are part of the fabric of the audience."
He added, "The Zamalek fans are number one and our biggest supporters, along with the board of directors and the coaching staff led by Ahmed Abdel Raouf, as well as the players, both present and absent; everyone is united as one."
He explained that Mohamed Sobhi sustained a minor injury before the match against Pyramids, and the coaching staff preferred to rest him. Meanwhile, Bezera is suffering from a slight tear and "he may be present in the match or on the bench after undergoing the necessary medical examinations."
He concluded: "Bezera and Sobhi are largely ready to face Al-Ahly, God willing, even if it requires some risk."
