Abdel Nasser Mohamed, the football director of Zamalek Club, revealed the reason for goalkeeper Mohamed Sobhi's absence from the team's list for today's match against Pyramids in the semi-finals of the Egyptian Super Cup.

Abdel Nasser Mohamed revealed in his statements that the exclusion of Mohamed Sobhi from the squad for the match against Pyramids was due to him suffering from a muscle strain.

He added: "The goalkeeper was supposed to be present for the match against Pyramids, but his struggle with a mild strain he suffered during the last match against Tala'ea El Gaish in the league led the coaching staff to exclude him from today's game."

The football director confirmed at the end of his statement that the coaching staff, led by Ahmed Abdel Raouf, preferred to rest Mohamed Sobhi to avoid worsening his injury.
