Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola appeared in a press statement after the victory over Bournemouth 3-1 in the tenth round of the Premier League.

The coach said: "We played a great match. We needed high coordination in pressing and defending, and the team played excellently, and of course Erling Haaland was decisive again."

Regarding the Bournemouth match, Guardiola said: "We knew the difficulty of the match, we struggled against them last season, and they are a very strong team, organized and intense in play. Today they lost for the second time only this season, while we have lost more, which shows their strength."

He added about Bournemouth's goal: "The goal we conceded is very strange; when you watch the replay, you can't believe that a foul was not called. There are decisions that are sometimes hard to understand, but we were calm enough to come back and score the second goal."

He concluded his remarks by saying: "An important week awaits us; we will start our journey in the Champions League and we have a great opportunity to qualify. We need to continue at this level."
