Gomiz Responds to Zamalek's Offer to Coach the Team
Reports have revealed the position of Jose Gomes, the coach of Al-Fateh Saudi, regarding coaching Zamalek as a successor to the current team coach, Yanic Ferreira.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Yawm" reported this Friday evening that Gomes rejected Zamalek's offer and confirmed to the club's management his respect for his contract with Al-Fateh and his continuation until the end of his contract.
Zamalek's management is looking for a replacement for Ferreira due to the team's poor results recently, and they have agreed with John Edward, the sporting director, on the departure of the Belgian coach.
It is worth noting that Zamalek drew with Al-Ahly Bank yesterday, Thursday, with a positive result of 1-1 in a match during the 12th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
The white team currently occupies the fourth position in the Egyptian Premier League table with 19 points.
