Spanish coach Pep Guardiola of Manchester City has delivered good news to coach Vladimir Petkovic and the Algerian fans, about two weeks before the Algerian national team's gathering.

In statements reported by CityXtra today, Wednesday, Guardiola confirmed the readiness of Algerian international Ryan Ait Nouri to return to competitive action, after fully recovering from an injury that kept him off the field for two months.

Manchester City is preparing to face Swansea City tomorrow, Wednesday, in the fourth round of the English League Cup, in a match where Ait Nouri is expected to make a significant return to the lineup.

Guardiola said about his Algerian player: "He is ready... fit and available to play."

It is worth mentioning that Ait Nouri transferred to Manchester City during last summer's transfer window from Wolverhampton for £31 million, before suffering an injury on August 31, 2025, against Brighton in the third round of the Premier League.
