Al-Zawraa Club held its press conference before facing the Tajik team Esteghlal Dushanbe tomorrow, Wednesday, in the third round of the AFC Champions League 2.

The team's assistant coach, Hossam Fawzi, spoke during the conference about the importance of the match and the ambition of the Al-Nawras to achieve a positive result, confirming that the team has all the components to win away from home.

Fawzi said: "We will play an important match against a respected team that leads the league in its country, and we are well aware of the difficulty of the confrontation, but we are well prepared for it, and we seek to deliver a performance worthy of the name Al-Zawraa."

He added: "The Al-Zawraa team has distinguished players capable of making a difference on the field, and we have great confidence in their ability to return from the match with three points."

He continued: "The new coaching staff led by coach Imad Al-Nahhas has high efficiency, and will represent an important addition to the team in the upcoming period, as we have noticed a quick understanding of the players' capabilities and the playing style."

He completed: "Our victory over the Indian team Goa away from home was very important, especially since the Tajik team itself managed to surpass the Indian team on its home ground, which makes our victory more valuable and enhances our confidence before tomorrow's match."
