Yasser Al-Mashel: Naturalization of Players for the National Team is Currently Not on the Table
Yasser Al-Mashel, President of the Saudi Football Federation, confirmed that the issue of naturalizing players to represent the Saudi national team is not on the table at this time.
Al-Mashel denied during his talk with the program "In the Picture" on Rotana Khalejia channels that there is any immunity for top stars in the Roshen League, such as Cristiano Ronaldo, emphasizing that no one is above the law.
He continued: "The number of league clubs will remain as it is now (18 teams) for the next two seasons."
He also confirmed that French coach Hervé Renard will continue to coach the Saudi national team until the 2027 Asian Cup finals.
