Tariq Yahya Cries on Air Due to Zamalek's Crises
Tariq Yahya, the former Zamalek star, broke down in tears on air due to calls for donations to the white club because of its current financial crisis.
This occurred during Tariq Yahya's appearance on the program "Al-La'ib" on MBC Masr 1 channel.
Recently, former Al Ahly goalkeeper Ikrami Al-Shahat suggested donating to Zamalek.
Tariq Yahya said: "Donating to Zamalek?! I get upset about these things. I am very sad about the situation," before breaking down in tears.
He commented: "Zamalek is much bigger than that; people took Ikrami's words as an insult and belittlement of the club, but that was not Captain Ikrami's feeling.
He continued: "But anyone who says such things is joking; it is not appropriate to say donate to Zamalek with 2 pounds, Zamalek is much bigger than that, and there is a board of directors that will solve the problem. Thanks to Ikrami, thanks to Badr Hamid, for proposing some solutions."
