
Al-Hedos Announces His Donation to Build a School and Sports Hall in Gaza
Qatari national team captain Hassan Al-Hedos announced his financial support for the establishment of facilities in the Palestinian city of Gaza, which was destroyed by the occupation forces.
Al-Hedos wrote on his account on X: "Thank God for our national team's qualification to the 2026 World Cup... A new achievement that brings joy to every Qatari and everyone belonging to this nation, achieved by the determination of the players and their strong will despite all challenges."
He continued: "In moments of joy, it remains our responsibility to remember the suffering of our brothers in all corners of the earth, and to make our success a motivation for giving."
He added: "It is wonderful that this qualification coincides with the peace summit and the success of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which we hope will be a true beginning for a safe life for our people there in Gaza."
He concluded: "With God's will, I will donate to contribute to the construction of a school and a sports hall in the reconstruction of Gaza, believing that education and sports are the way to life anew."
