Inter Milan continues its interest in signing English defender Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace, as the club considers him one of its top defensive targets for the upcoming summer transfer window, according to what was revealed by 'Football Italia'.

The site pointed out that Guehi's contract with Crystal Palace extends until June 2026, but the player does not intend to renew it at the moment, which opens the door for clubs interested in signing him.

The report clarified that Liverpool was the closest to signing him during the last summer transfer window after reaching an agreement with Crystal Palace for a deal worth 40 million euros, before negotiations stalled on the last day of the market due to the London club's failure to find a suitable replacement.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan is closely monitoring the situation and may move to sign the player if the opportunity arises, especially since the club has a potential bargaining chip in defender Jan Bisseck, who Crystal Palace had previously listed as a candidate to replace Guehi.

The same source added that Inter Milan is also considering several other defensive options as part of its plans for next season, notably Joel Ordonez from Club Brugge, Konstantinos Kolerakis from Wolfsburg, Omar Solit from Udinese, Mario Giala from Lazio, and Tarek Moharimovic from Sassuolo.
