Spanish newspaper 'AS' reported that young star Lamine Yamal, player of Barcelona, is close to receiving medical clearance to participate in the upcoming match against Girona, after making significant recovery from his injury in the groin area.

The newspaper explained that the player, if no setback occurs, will receive the green light on Saturday to play some minutes in the match, as part of the coaching staff's plan led by Hans Flick to physically prepare him for the upcoming Clasico match against Real Madrid.

The newspaper also added that the treatment Yamal underwent at the club yielded excellent results, and he is expected to participate in group training on Wednesday to assess his final readiness.

The newspaper also indicated that the duo Fermín López and Raphinha will also be ready for the Girona match, while goalkeeper Juan García will continue to be absent until the match against Club Brugge on November 5 in the UEFA Champions League.

In a related context, the same source revealed that Dani Olmo's calf muscle injury will keep him off the pitch for 3 to 4 weeks, meaning he will officially miss the Clasico, joining Barcelona's injury list which includes both Gavi and Ter Stegen.
