Hossam Hassan Comments on Egypt's Qualification for the World Cup
Hossam Hassan, the coach of the Egyptian national team, spoke about Egypt's qualification for the 2026 World Cup.
The Egyptian team won against their Djibouti counterparts with a clean score of three goals this Wednesday evening in the ninth round of the African qualifiers for the World Cup, securing the Pharaohs' qualification for the finals.
Hossam Hassan stated in remarks via "On Sport" channel: "Congratulations to Egypt, thank God and thanks to the Egyptian fans of all ages."
He continued: "I want to tell people that it shouldn't just be three times to reach the World Cup; we must compensate for what is coming, and in the coming times, God willing, we will reach it again."
He added: "No one works alone; the head of the pyramid is the one who lays the foundation, and the people and fans are very important. There will be no success without them."
He concluded: "We are at Egypt's service at any time, and you must rely a bit on the Egyptians who are doing something. Honestly, what mattered to me was the joy of the fans, just for the Egyptian people to be happy. Egypt is not lacking in anything; Egypt deserves to reach everything beautiful."
