The Union Club will be without the services of its player Ahmed Al-Julaidan for a full month after he was called up to the Saudi national team under 23 years old, in preparation for the Asian Cup scheduled to take place at the beginning of 2026.

According to press sources, the Union received a painful blow after Ahmed Al-Julaidan, the team's left-back, was called up to join the Saudi national team under 23 years old to participate in the Asian Cup under 23 years old.

Al-Julaidan's call-up is part of the coaching staff's plan for the national team to prepare a new generation of young players through internal and external camps that include friendly matches aimed at enhancing the technical and physical readiness of the players.
