The administrative body of Al-Zawraa Club announced the termination of coach Abdul Ghani Shahad's contract by mutual consent, following the disappointing results of the team in the current season of the Iraqi Stars League. The decision came after a comprehensive evaluation of the team's technical situation and discussions on ways to improve performance in the upcoming competitions.

The administrative body stated: "An amicable agreement was reached with coach Abdul Ghani Shahad to end the contract amicably, with our sincere thanks to him and his coaching staff for their dedicated efforts during their time with the team."

It continued: "We confirm that the procedures for selecting a new coaching staff have already begun, and the new coach will be announced within the next two days, in preparation for the team's upcoming challenges."

Abdul Ghani Shahad led Al-Zawraa in 5 matches, winning one, drawing two, and losing two, which prompted the administration to make the decision to terminate the contract in an effort to return the team to the path of victories.

Denying the issue: "There were no disagreements between the administration and the coach, and the decision was mutually agreed upon only to preserve the good relationship between the two parties."

The administration concluded by saying: "We wish coach Abdul Ghani Shahad all the best in his future endeavors, and we thank him for his dedication and loyalty to the team, and we assure Al-Zawraa fans that we will work to improve results and win in the upcoming matches."
