Hesham Hanafy, the former Al Ahly star, believes that Zamalek's current crisis will continue, and the white club will become like Ismaily if it does not receive financial support.

Hesham Hanafy stated in remarks through the "Stadium Al-Mahwar" program that modern football heavily relies on financial aspects, pointing out that Ismaily is currently suffering due to the lack of financial support.

He added: "Football now is money; if you have it, you can support and compete, and if not, you will find yourself in the same situation as Ismaily, which is at the bottom of the league table."

Hesham Hanafy criticized the lack of support for Zamalek, saying: "Where are the businessmen when it comes to financially supporting Zamalek? You are not entering the board of directors for photos and points; your real job is to create income sources for the club."

He added: "The only thing supporting Zamalek right now is its fans."
