Croatian star Ivan Rakitić praised his former national teammate Luka Modrić after his start with his new club AC Milan.
Rakitić said: "Luka is extremely happy, he invited me to visit Milan and says that football here is completely different from Spanish football, a country that loves football in all its details."
The former Barcelona player added: "Luka feels comfortable, he is very happy with his teammates and his life in Italy."
He continued: "Modrić has his own team and a fitness coach who trains with him daily. Most importantly, he possesses a football intelligence that makes him superior to everyone else."
He concluded: "I say this with great respect for others: there are stronger and faster players, but Luka's intelligence is on another level."
