Officially.. Manchester City announces Savinho's contract renewal
Manchester City Football Club announced today the signing of its young Brazilian winger Savinho to a new long-term contract that keeps him at the Etihad Stadium until the summer of 2031, rewarding him for his outstanding performance since joining the team from Troyes in the summer of 2024.
Savinho quickly caught the eye thanks to his high technical skills, great speed, and excellent dribbling ability, adapting quickly to the demands of the Premier League.
During his first season with the Citizens, the Brazilian winger participated in 48 matches across all competitions, scoring 3 goals and providing 13 assists, contributing to winning the Community Shield in 2024.
After signing the new contract, Savinho expressed his immense happiness, saying: "I am extremely proud to sign this new contract with Manchester City. It’s great to know that Pep and the club trust me, it means a lot to me and my family."
He added: "I know I have a lot to offer, as I am still young and eager to learn. Working with Pep and his coaching staff will help me develop further as a player."
