Officially.. Spain's Squad for the International Break
Spain's coach Luis de la Fuente announced today, Friday, the squad for the international break during October.
The list saw many absences, most notably Dani Carvajal, Nico Williams, Fermín López, Fabián Ruiz, and Gavi due to injuries, and Álvaro Morata was excluded for technical reasons, while the list included Barrios, Marcos Llorente, and Samuel Omorodion.
The Spanish national team will play against their Georgian and Bulgarian counterparts in the World Cup qualifiers on October 11 and 14.
The squad is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Unai Simón, David Raya, Álex Remiro.
Defense: Grimaldo, Cucurella, Pau Torres, Vivian, Le Normand, Marcos Llorente, Pedro Porro, Dean Hasson.
Midfield: Rodri, Olmo, Mikel Merino, Zubimendi, Álex García, Pedri, Álex Baena, Pablo Barrios.
Attack: Oyarzabal, Ferran Torres, Yeremy Pino, Lamine Yamal, Samuel, Jorge de Frutos, Jesús Rodríguez.
