Arsenal star Martin Odegaard appeared in press statements after the 2-0 victory over Olympiacos in the second round of the Champions League group stage.

Odegaard said about his return to the team: "It was great to be back. I missed the game and felt happy, and it was a wonderful win."

He added: "We work a lot on that [fluidity], and we want to create a lot. We know the quality of our team and how solid we are defensively, so if we can create those opportunities and fluidity, it will always be good."

Regarding his precise forward passes: "That's what I want to do, especially with those attackers, and especially with Victor [Gyökeres] who is very aggressive and always poses a threat. This is my job, to create opportunities for them. I could have provided more assists, but we won and I enjoyed it."

When asked if Mikel Arteta had asked him to reduce touches or play simpler, he said: "You have to play as you see it, sometimes the game requires more touches and sometimes fewer."
