Mortada Mansour, the former president of Zamalek Club, sent an important message to the fans of the white team following the loss of the team in the summit match against Al Ahly.

Zamalek lost to Al Ahly with a score of 2-1 in a match played as part of the ninth round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Mortada wrote in statements sent to journalists: "Great Zamalek fans, do not direct your anger at the players, for they exerted great effort in the summit match to make you happy. However, these players have not received a single penny from their contracts or bonuses for winning matches."

He continued: "The great Zamalek Club, its loyal fans, its general assembly members, and its sports team are all victims... those who bought the club with its fans and members."
