Ferreira: Very Frustrated with the Result of the Al Ahly Match
Yannick Ferreira, the Zamalek coach, commented on his team's loss to Al Ahly with a score of 2-1 in the match held on Monday evening as part of the ninth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Ferreira said in the press conference after the match: "We are very frustrated with the result, and we are convinced that we started the match well in the first 10 minutes, and we had two clear chances, then Al Ahly got into the game, created chances, and controlled the ball."
He added: "Unfortunately, we were very much in retreat, and this allowed Al Ahly to have complete control over the course of the game, and this affected us a lot."
He continued: "In the last ten minutes, we brought in several attacking players, and we had an important chance that hit the crossbar."
He concluded: "We were considering making a substitution and bringing on El-Wensh before Al Ahly equalized, but we found that we did not need to increase the defenders."
