Reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that AC Milan has begun negotiations with English defender Fikayo Tomori (27 years old) regarding the renewal of his contract with the team in the upcoming period.

This move by the Rossoneri management comes in light of interest from several Premier League clubs in acquiring Tomori, prompting the Italian club to expedite the renewal process to ensure the retention of one of the key pillars of their defense in the coming years.

The English defender has a contract with Milan that runs until the summer of 2027, having joined the team on loan in January 2021 before Milan signed him in the summer of 2021 for 35 million euros.
