Mahmoud Fouad, a sports analyst, confirmed that Zoran Ferreira, the coach of Zamalek, will leave his position if they lose to Al-Ahly.
Zamalek will face Al-Ahly next Monday in the ninth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Fouad said in statements to the program "El Match" on Sada El Balad channel: "Yanik Ferreira's fate at Zamalek hangs by a thread, as rumors have circulated within the council recently about his dismissal and hiring a foreign coach, while some have suggested the name of Tarek Mostafa, but John Edward strongly opposed this, as he is the one who decides whether the coach stays or leaves."
He added: "If Zamalek loses to Al-Ahly in the summit match, Ferreira's departure will be the most likely scenario, with the direction towards hiring a new foreign coach."
