The Algerian winger Bilal Brahimi expressed his great happiness in joining the Brazilian club Santos, confirming that playing for one of the most historic clubs in Brazil and the world represents a new challenge and an important opportunity for development.

Brahimi said in statements to the club's official website: "Santos is a historic club, having produced legends like Pelé and Neymar; its name has always been associated with beautiful football and the formation of stars."

He added: "I came here driven by a passion for the challenge and to discover Brazilian football, which has a unique status in the world."

He described himself saying: "I am an attacking player who loves dribbling and creating opportunities, and I have a powerful shot that I utilize from outside the box. I can play on the wings or behind the striker, and I promise the Santos fans that I will give my all in every match, to be worthy of their trust and to honor this historic jersey."

It is worth noting that Brahimi (25 years old) joined Santos on a free transfer after the end of his contract with Nice in France, becoming the second Algerian player to experience the Brazilian league after Islam Slimani.
