Al-Faraj: Al-Ahli's Defense is Disjointed and There are Tactical Mistakes
Media personality Walid Al-Faraj continued his criticism of Saudi club Al-Ahli following their loss to Pyramids in the Intercontinental Cup.
Pyramids defeated Al-Ahli with a score of 3-1 in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
Al-Faraj said in television statements: "With all due respect to the discussion about fatigue and the pressure of matches, and even the refereeing matters in the match, I see that Al-Ahli's defense is like 'shorba' (a type of soup), the defense is disjointed and there are tactical mistakes."
Al-Faraj added that the team has no excuse for the loss, especially since the Egyptian team is not classified among the top clubs in Egypt despite winning the African Champions League title last season.
