CAF's Decisive Decision on Increasing Clubs in the African Champions League
The media personality Ahmed Shobier revealed the CAF's stance on increasing the number of clubs participating in the African Champions League next season.
In a radio statement, Shobeir said: "CAF was considering increasing the number of clubs participating in the African Champions League, but it was decided to settle on having only two teams from Egypt in the Champions League competition."
Zamalek succeeded in winning the Egyptian Premier League title for the 15th time in its history.
Zamalek won the title after raising their tally to 56 points, leading the Premier League standings, surpassing Pyramids, who are in second place with 54 points.
