Liverpool's Stance on Selling Gravenberch to Real Madrid

A press report confirmed that Liverpool FC has no intention of parting ways with their Dutch star Ryan Gravenberch in favor of Real Madrid, despite coach Xabi Alonso's interest in signing him in the upcoming period.

The website 'TEAMtalk' mentioned that Liverpool's management considers Gravenberch one of the most important pillars of the team and cannot think of selling him, especially after the impressive performances he delivered last season that led the team to win the Premier League title for 2024/2025.

The report indicated that Alonso has placed Gravenberch on his priority list at Real Madrid, after the player excelled under Slot's management and became a key figure in the midfield. It also clarified that Liverpool is preparing to reward him with a new long-term contract to ensure his continuation beyond 2028.

It is noteworthy that the 23-year-old Gravenberch caught attention with his performance in the Merseyside derby against Everton, where former striker Peter Crouch described him as Liverpool's best player this season, increasing the interest of major European clubs in his services.
