Manchester City star Phil Foden appeared in a press statement after the 2-0 victory over Napoli in the first round of the Europa League group stage.
The English star said in his remarks: "They were a team that was hard to break down, but I think we were very smart and didn't lose the ball much."
He added: "The first half was a bit frustrating. I couldn't touch the ball much between the lines. Erling [Haaland] will always keep making that run. It's just about creating that connection. It seems like he is breaking every record. It's unprecedented. What an amazing player!"
Regarding Kevin De Bruyne's return to the Etihad Stadium: "He is a club legend. I can't thank him enough for what he has done. He will remain a legend here forever."
