Real Madrid has decided to escalate the case of young defender Dean Haussen's red card, after the appeal committee rejected the club's request to overturn the red card for the second time.
According to Spanish radio station "COPE", the club will officially approach the Administrative Sports Court to challenge the decision, in an attempt to annul the penalty that they believe is unjust.
Haussen was sent off in the match between Real Madrid and Sociedad in the fourth round of La Liga, at a time when the refereeing committee confirmed that Haussen's sending off was incorrect and that he only deserved a yellow card.
Haussen is set to miss the team's match against Espanyol in the fifth round of La Liga on Saturday at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
